Service Description

The race skills lesson program is designed to help skiers improve their technique and performance of skills used on a race course or to advance their skiing skills. The program will include a series of drills and exercises that focus on the fundamental skills of skiing, such as pressure, edging, rotary, and balance. The drills and skills will be progressive throughout the program.   Requirements: - Skiers should be able to competently ski the "big hill," stopping and turning. - Skiers need to be able to ride the t-bar solo.  Program Details: Coached by: Certified racing coach(s) focused on Skaneateles Ski Hill members. Schedule: 4 weeks on Thursday nights from 6-8 PM (Jan 16, 23, 30, Feb 6).6 pm is on snow time; skiers will need to have gear on and ready to ski. Minimum of 8 kids needed to run the program
